Church Planting Ministry

Both Churches are growing and ministering to their respective communities.  Good News Baptist Church will be having a special baptism service Sunday, May 2, 2010.  We will leave the yard where the church is meeting and march through the streets singing hymns until we reach the river.  Then a pastor will preach a short salvation message to all  who have gathered to watch the baptism and to those that are there washing clothes in the river.  After the baptism we will return to the yard and finish the service. We have 7 to baptize.  In May two couples will be getting married.

New Life Baptist Church will be having a baptism, baby dedication, and deacon ordination service on May 9, 2010.  There are 11 to be baptized during this special service.  Pastor Chavannes Toussaint began a youth program a few months ago that it is growing and has had several young people take a stand against sin in their area.

Christian Schools

The Lord has led us to School has gotten off to a great start for the 2011-2012 School year.  There have been two boys accept Christ in our elementary school.  The Lord has provided teaching material through Bible Visuals International for our Bible classes.  Both the teachers and the students are enjoying the interesting lessons accompined by the visuals.
Bible Corespondence School

While we were on our furlough, most of the men in our corespondence school walked an additional 4 miles to attened the class that our fellow missionary co-workes were conducting.  When we came back we were pleased that our students and comleted 12 additional corses out of the 24.

Harry has started book 17 entitled the leaders of the church.  It goes over the difirent support roles men and women can have to help the pastor carry out the discipleship of new belivers, as well as the qualifications and responsabilities of a deacon.

Thinking about visiting Haiti?

Somethings can not be explained only experienced.  That is the way we try and explain Haiti to people who have never visited.  Through all of our travels we have heard over and over again how a mission trip to another country has opened eyes and changed lives.  We feel the same way and encourage you to visit a missionary on the field.

Of course we are partial to Haiti, and would love to have you come and visit.  There are a few things that should be done in advance.

  1. Contact us.
  2. A passport is mandatory.
  3. Vaccines would be nice.  Check with your local Health Department.
  4. Travel to and from Haiti.
  5. Some more details.
  6. For individuals or team leaders click here.
